Joy Dare ~ Day 22

Day 22

'We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.' Romans 5:3 NLT

                                                       Living in the Valley of Shadows

We have the first rain of fall

There is no shadow today

We can't see the sun

Students want to dance in the rain instead of doing school work

My quilt has been aired out for the winter and covers the daybed

I am thankful that my windshield wipers worked

We will get at least 25 inches of rain before summer

The time to curl up and read a book

I am instead waiting for the storm to clear and head to Redding

Still looking for work

Still waiting for the open door

My van is sitting under a fall tree

Breath

Don't cry

Stand up straight

God has a purpose and a plan

The shadow only mean that God has my back

JOY DARE ~ Day 22 - 1 Gift Silent, 1 Gift Still, 1 Gift Strong

       1) Silent of the clouds
       2) The Stillness that my heart desires
       3) The strength of the Lord

Praise the LORD!
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,
who greatly delights in his commandments!
His offspring will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in his house,
and his righteousness endures forever.
Light dawns in the darkness for the upright;
he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.
It is well with the man who deals generously and lends;
who conducts his affairs with justice.
For the righteous will never be moved;
he will be remembered forever.
He is not afraid of bad news;
his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is steady; he will not be afraid,
until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever;
his horn is exalted in honor.
The wicked man sees it and is angry;
he gnashes his teeth and melts away;
the desire of the wicked will perish!
(Psalm 112 ESV)
