♫ Sisters Sisters there were never such devoted sisters...

A week from today the tears will be bitter sweet.
My little girls have grown into such amazing young women.
You are invited to attend the Shasta College Graduation of:
Johanna and Abigail Burnham
May  24th, 2012
8:00 p.m.

Soon Abbie the Archaeologist will be off to Sacramento State University....

...Johanna the Photographer and Child Development student,
will be headed for Humboldt State University.

The ♫ Sister Song ♫ will be closing it's daily performance and my eyes feel with tears at the though of them leaving.
♫ There will be other songs to sing,...

♫My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Blood and Righteousness

♫He's got the whole world in His hands

♫Sleep my child and peace attend thee all through the night,
guardian angels God will send thee all through the night,
soft the drowsy hours are creeping....
....God my loved ones watches and keeps thee,
all through the night,

All on one word: Comfort
GO:
Fresh washed children in sleepers.
remembered this week...
I have a vivid memory of each my children on my lap
in their sleepers
freshly washed
asleep on my lap
in my rocking chair.
My old rocking chair that has lasted 22 years.
The comfort to me that rocking chair has brought...
22 years of "Happy Mother's Day" from their little faces.
That chubby little hand of my son with the dirt under his nails...
"good clean dirt" (How does that work?)
His chubby little hand full of dandy lions and a smile saying,
"Happy Mother's Day"
The comfort upon all comforts, to know that each of my children has trusted their lives to Jesus
and HE holds them in the palm of HIS hand...
That is my true comfort.
STOP

Happy "Cinco de Mayo"

Happy Birthday Ian Wesley Burnham

Streets
There is a cake on the table with 17 candles.

There is a man voice in my shower

And size 13 shoes in the living room.

The baritone "Good Morning" I hear

Is a far cry from the " 'ello" of yester-year.

This mysterious fellow I take to school each day

Has grown into a man size body while I wasn't looking.

So, many adventure with Ralphie and Cats in the past
(thankfully some I didn't know about at the time)

And many,  many more adventure to be had.

I thank God daily for my 4 children and pray for protection

Each child on their own way to the plans set before them

I am so thankful "HE" knew them before they were formed

HE has a purpose and a plan...

I laugh, I cry, I smile and not to often use, "The mother voice"
("Don't make me use my Mother Voice")

Lord help me to be the support in the storm

Help me to continue to lead them back to YOU in times of distress

Help us to remember you in time or pleasure as well as pain.

Thank you Lord for the man voice that sings praises to YOU this day,

Sunday, May 5th, 2013.
