Journal of Love

I was reading one of my favorite blogs and she suggest writing for 5 minutes and posting a link to her blog.
She is the Gypsy Mama for obvious reasons if your read her blog. This was my 5 minutes writing.

Journal of Love
I was given a new journal for my graduation present.
I graduated from college at 52, I was sure I was one of the oldest graduates.
I decide it would be a “journal of love”.
I have been journaling for over 35 years, but this would have no gripes.
Today’s entry: My son is done with summer school…Yah
My two younger daughters enjoyed a day at the lake.
I finished my summer reading program of junk food reading. Now is the time to get back to something more important to God.
Amazing how fast 5 minutes have gone.

    1. I too would say I am a Journal Junkie. My Blog became my journal when I decide to get off the gripe wagon. Having others read it make me more accountable to not have a gripe feast. Though I know there are times when I had no one to talk to in tough times and my journaling helped me get through it.
I also realized the prompt was "Dance" So, I will say, "Life is a dance and sometimes we do get our toes stepped on.
Thanks for the invite. I will check it out
